On the afternoon of Wednesday, June 12th, we will have the pleasure of hosting Professor Hugo Duminil-Copin (University of Geneva and IHES) for a special colloquium in the Protomoteca hall inside the Palazzo Senatorio of Rome's civic government, located in Piazza del Campidoglio.
Professor Duminil-Copin was awarded one of the four Fields Medals in 2022, in particular "for solving longstanding problems in the probabilistic theory of phase transitions in statistical physics". For a summary of his contributions in the field, please refer to this link.
