Gaussian Quantum Markov Semigroups
Gaussian quantum Markov semigroups (QMS) describe the evolution of open quantum systems of bosons interaction with the surrounding environment. They are the non-commutative analogue of classical Ornstein-Uhlenbeck semigroups and they also generalize bosonic quadratic Hamiltonians. In this talk we illustrate the construction of gaussian QMS by the minimal semigroup method and discuss some properties of the Markovian dynamics such as irreducibility, ergodicity, existence of invariant states and the speed of convergence towards invariant states.
